In 2012, I published a book about my two-year experience of ministering to a distant cousin (We had never met before) and family friend who was reluctantly trapped in a lesbian lifestyle. She had been molested for years as a child and was harboring incredible pain and secrets. Through God’s grace and power, she survived a painful process of healing, married, and became an award-winning teacher and Assistant Principal.

Unfortunately, today’s girls and young women are bombarded with media images of romantic love, beauty, and all-around perfection. Yet, many of them are products of dysfunctional communities characterized by rejection, neglect, constant criticism, fear, and even hyper-religiousness. The subsequent disconnect between fantasy and reality often creates psychological and emotional gaps that Satan seeks to fill through deceptive desires and relationships.

This three-hour workshop (virtual or face-to-face) is interactive, open, and transparent as it provides attendees with tools and the encouragement to turn away from the lure of toxic and/or unwanted relationships and turn instead to Christ, the healer of their souls.
